I come from a very artistic family, my brother is a professional photographer and my Uncle is a fine artist who had his own TV programme on the BBC in the 60’s. I graduated in 2001 from Regent Academy with City&Guilds in Interior Design. I ran my own interior design business for many years and gradually discovered a love of working with glass after attending a course with John Dunn at the Open Studio in Brighton, UK.
I come from an Asian background and I am deeply influenced by Indian and other SE Asian influences in architecture, the use of materials especially fabrics, and also the vivid use of colour to create contrast or harmony; drama or peace.
The medium of glass gives me endless opportunity to explore these themes and to harness the power of light both artificial and natural, to reflect off work or to fill the work with a natural energy.
My work can be commissioned, viewed and purchased from my studio in Brighton. I would be happy to show you my work please use the contact me page…..to get in touch.
